Clean the probe thoroughly with a soft damp cloth.

Insert the probe onto the food and wait for the display to stabilise before taking a reading.

Check the thermometer is working correctly. If the battery becomes low replace it immediately.

Do not leave the thermometer inside the freezer / fridge, or on hot surfaces or expose to extreme temperatures, vibration or shocks.

Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
